About Yvonne
Yvonne Martin began practicing yoga when she was 19 years old and has participated in a variety of yoga styles over the years, which has allowed her to determine the best suited style for her life.
Practicing yoga consistently for the last 10 years had encouraged her to become an instructor. Yvonne has acquired a certification in Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced Hatha Yoga, as well as obtained her Level 1 Reiki and Restorative Yoga certifications. She has taught for the last 10 years in neighborhood schools, Pleasant View Community Centre, clients’ homes and her personal yoga space at 32 Kamloops Drive in North York, Ontario.
Teaching Yoga is an absolute passion that she shares with her family, friends and community. Hatha classes include centering, stretching, strengthening and relaxation, while all focusing on moving for spinal health. Restorative Yoga classes focus on deep relaxation. all classes aim to leave the participants feeling well rested and rejuvenated.
